From Imagination to Creation: Grade 7F and 2I's 3D Design Adventure
In a delightful fusion of creativity, technology, and collaboration, Grade 7F students embarked on a captivating journey into the world of 3D design and printing, partnering with the imaginative Grade 2I minds. This project not only honed technical skills but also connected students across different grades, fostering a unique bond.

Creative Interaction and Exchange
The project began with Grade 7F students learning character design basics through interviews with Grade 2 students, uncovering favorite characters and vibrant stories. This provided insight into character creation and a glimpse into the imaginations of the younger students.
Through lively discussions, Grade 7F students discovered the characters that delighted Grade 2I students. The excitement of shared stories set the stage for the creative process, transforming ideas into 3D designs.
From Vision to Reality: 3D Design Skills

Using software like Tinkercad and resources from platforms like Thingiverse, Grade 7F students turned drawings into 3D models, capturing each character’s personality. Ensuring each character met specifications, in just two weeks, designs were realized and sliced in Creality Print Software, prepared for 3D printers to get printed layer by layer. This phase demonstrated how technology can bring imagination to life.

A Shared Moment of Triumph
The unveiling day brought infectious excitement. Grade 2I students received their 3D-printed characters, crafted by their peers, their joy reflecting the success of this collaborative effort. It ignited an interest in design technology among the younger students.
This project inspired younger students and empowered older ones, demonstrating the real-world impact of skills beyond textbooks. It highlighted the power of combining technology, creativity, and community in education.
As Grade 7F and 2I reflect on their journey, they carry forward lessons in creativity, empathy, and imagination. This project exemplifies the transformative power of educational collaboration and the joy of bringing ideas
